UX Consultant - London

My client, who are a government funded organisation, working within the security sector are looking for an additional UX Consultant to come in and work initially on a 3 month basis within their London office.

A User Experience Consultant will have the following:

Have a passion for creating digital experiences which delight and inspire diverse audiences.

Conduct user research and requirements analysis, task and concept modelling, information architecture and interaction design, and concept/usability testing.

Design interactions using an iterative process, based on evidence from deep customer insight, and gathered through interviews, studies, analytics, usability testing and more.

Create user experience specifications, personas, user journeys, interactive prototypes and information architecture tools such as site maps and navigation models.

Work closely with design and development teams to ensure the UX specification is successfully translated into visual design and code.

Be an evangelist for user-centred design, contributing to cross-functional teams including software architects, account managers and other designers.

Have around 2 years' experience working at an Agency or client-side doing user research, information architecture, or usability roles.

Have an online portfolio or work samples demonstrating UX deliverables such as site maps, user journeys, process flows, user testing reports, wireframes, user personas, etc.

Expert knowledge of user interface design processes and methodologies.

Have excellent people and presentation skills as this role will involve working with others, be client facing and will lead to opportunities to design and facilitate workshops and user interviews.

Proficiency with design and prototyping tools equivalent to Visio, Omnigraffle, Axure, etc.

Candidates must be able to attend an interview in Bournemouth for first stage and then attend the following day a short meeting within London. Daily rate on offer is £300-350pd please apply now!
