UX Consultant - French or Dutch Speaking

My client, based in Brussels, are looking for an experienced UX Consultant to join their team for an initial 6 months. They require someone who can speak either French or Dutch, any additional languages would definitely be a bonus.

YOUR MISSION

The UX Expert has the opportunity to define the new overall digital experience of the professional users. He/she will ensure they appreciate a coherent self-service experience. Their journey spans from the portal to the UIs of the off-the-shelf Business Support platforms that Excite introduces, and includes the mobile experience. It connects to the public and residential sections of the site. (Focus on the enterprise customer self-service portal, followed by partner site, wholesale site, employee portal, in relation to the marketing site, to E-commerce and to the residential web site sections).

THE ROLE DESCRIPTION

- Elicit, understand, clarify and refine business requirements with the different stakeholders
- Starts from customer journeys, touch points, use cases and self-service tasks
- Examine the UX and UI concepts in place, and the underlying, sometimes limiting, technologies
- Investigate start-of-the-art and emerging UX trends
- Use the Voice-of-the-Customer, user feedback and analytics as source of inspiration and continuous improvement
- Design and conduct user research such as usability tests, focus groups, participatory design sessions
- Synthetize findings, give insight into business value, and identify usability issues and design opportunities
- Convert research findings into actionable results
- Create UX concepts, prototypes, wireframes and screen mock-ups with the involvement of all required stakeholders, suiting the scope, timing and technology aspects
- Assist in designing UX metrics to measure and track the impact of design changes on user experience
- Support the development, tests and release of the implemented solutions in the involved teams

THE SKILLS AND EXTRA-VALUE YOU BRING ALONG

- UX research, creative and artistic skills allowing to build the new business self-service UX/UI industry standards
- Wireframing, interaction design, UI prototyping; educated visual and written communication
- Familiar with customer journeys, user segmentation, personas, online personalization, web analytics, conversion rate optimization, UX optimization
- User empathy
- Affinity with Front End development is a nice to have
- 5 to 10 years' experience of large organizations and projects involving many teams and stakeholders, extended web sites with Legacy applications
- Leadership & collaboration: experience in leading and supporting large UX evolution through collaborative agile projects
