Utilization Management Coordinator Job

UTILIZATION MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Leandro, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Utilization Management or Medical Office Experience.
- Knowledge of Medical Coding.
- Authorizations experience.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for serving primarily in an administrative support capacity and providing exceptional health care support services to members and providers.
- Making telephone calls to members and providers, as well as process prior authorization requests on daily basis and in a timely fashion.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Minimum of one to two (1 - 2) years of previous health care experience with medical records, medical billing, or medical office experience.
- Proficient in CPT/HCPCS and ICD-9 codes.
- Excellent Data Entry Skills.
- Strong organization, time management and multi-tasking abilities.
- Have a "Can Do!" Attitude.
