User Interface / Experience Designer

THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced UX / UI Designer to support us on our journey with the continual enhancement of the products and services we offer to small businesses.

Key responsibilities:

Create innovative user interface designs for a range of online products and services for major new features and improvements that have a direct impact on our growing user base.

Develop detailed storyboards, interaction workflows, wireframes, and mock-ups to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.

Take part in requirements gathering and user research, including usability studies and market analysis.

Maintain a consistent focus on exceptional user experience and merge research findings, creative innovation and best practices to generate unique, user experience solutions.

Work closely with the Product Manger to define and implement features for outstanding user experience.

Creating stunning visual designs for new user interface elements.

ESSENTIAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

You will have at least 3 years' experience in interaction design for web applications (less if you're flat out awesome!) and a strong portfolio showcasing excellent web UI/UX design skills.

You will also have experience with applying responsive design techniques. You will have a strong sense of visual design, including a solid grasp of web design, front-end technologies, and usability principles and expertise working daily in Photoshop, Illustrator, or Fireworks.
