User Experience/UX Executive

User Experience/UX Executive - to join a growing successful client based in West Sussex.

Job Role
You will be responsible for producing designs, user flows, wireframes and documentation as needed for one of the Clients major websites.
This role is most suited to someone who has a passion for usability, user centered design and innovation in the digital environment.

Experience and Knowledge
* Provide general expertise in all aspects of multi device usability and user experience
* Help define and enforce appropriate online standards
* Design wireframes and map user flows for new and existing features
* Act as information architect (UIA) as appropriate, producing site taxonomies, wireframes and page flows with the support and guidance of the lead UIA
* Act as creative designer as appropriate, adding design to wireframes, elements of design, changes to existing designs etc. with the support and guidance of the lead creative designer
* Represent the UX manager as UX lead for Agile development projects
* Develop understanding of customer types/segments and use of personas.

Personal Capabilities
* Understanding of how different elements contribute to the total user experience (information architecture, creative design principles, copy, branding)
* Ability to speedily and accurately assess website structure, application flow, or page design.
* A customer champion - demonstrate genuine empathy with the end user with ability to commission and translate research findings into improvements to the end user experience
* Good understanding of user research methodologies
* Sound understanding of online business principles
* Experience using prototype and design software - Axure/Protoshare preferable
* Ability to quickly understand a design challenge, and quickly propose an approach
* Good understanding Front End development eg HTML/CSS/JavaScript
* Good understand of responsive web design
