User Experience Researcher

Hi User Experience Researcher!

My international tech client who's located in the center of Zurich is currently looking for a UX Researcher to join them for 9 months, starting the 6th of June 2016.

This client is ardently interested in its users and strive to learn everything they can about their behaviors, attitudes and emotions to help define the products and experiences they create and launch internationally.
The team that you would join as a User Experience Researcher is a critical driving force behind gathering these insights and then using them to inspire and inform design. Within this team you will be surrounded by interaction designers, visual designers, user researchers, copy writers and Web developers. They work very closely with each other and in combination with the Engineering and Product Management Teams they have been able to consistently create innovative,usable, great-looking products that people in the entire world love to use.

Your role as a UX researcher includes but is not limited to:
-conducting research
-analyze real user behavior
-work with User Interface Designers, Products Manager and Engineers to develop and improve product features.
-determine and evaluate features contributing to user experience.

As a UX researcher, you will be able to network with other experts in their field, as well as sharing your experiences on best practices. You will be working with many different profiles and get an insight of the workings of an international tech company.

I'm looking for a User Experience (UX) Researcher who constantly strives to learn what you need and want from my client's products and services. Ideally you will have an MS, or PhD program in human computer interaction, cognitive psychology, information science or a related field, as well as experience conducting user research. Do you also have solid knowledge of web design principes?
