User Experience Portal Designer > API > Brussels, Belgium.
We are searching for a User Experience Portal Designer to work on a new and exciting project for a global organisation in the heart of Brussels. You will work in a close nit small team of developers and other professionals to develop an API style portal to assist in the selling of application and products to large web-based organisations. We are looking for a very creative individual able to assist in the initial development of the API portal and then present the portal to various customers to gain their feedback on what is good and where improvements could be made to help optimise the end user experience.
Applicants will need to have excellent design experience (eg interaction, graphic, visual communications, product) with a proven background working as a user experience designer. You will have the ability to create user flows, wireframes and build user interface mock-ups and prototypes.
You should have worked in a collaborative team closely with developers for implementing designs. It is also important to be proficient with web standards, responsive design, accessibility compliance and search engine optimisation. Other skills that are nice to have are the ability to rapid prototype in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and on what APIs. As this is to work closely with both internal and external customers you will be expected to have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
This is an excellent long term contract opportunity to work in a highly skilled team working on an exciting new project, if you are looking to work in a start up style environment but with the stability of a corporate environment then this is role for you.
