User Experience/Interaction Designer Job

USER EXPERIENCE/INTERACTION DESIGNER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Redmond, WA.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with designers, artists, producers, and developers to create engaging entertainment experiences in both 2D and 3D worlds.
- Own overall end-to-end user experience - from the big picture (the overall user experience and
- consistency across an entire product) down to specifics at the pixel level (UI layout for a feature
- Create wireframes, storyboards, walkthroughs and paper prototypes to communicate your design to the rest of the team. Iterate in low fidelity to arrive at the best possible design, then execute in high fidelity
- Work with our in-house User Research department to test features and incorporate user feedback into design iterations

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Five (5) plus years of experience in Interaction Design, Interface Design and/or Information Architecture for consumer-facing products
- BA/BS degree in a Design-related field (HCI, Interaction Design, Interface Design, User Experience, Information Architecture or New Media) or equivalent
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Microsoft Expression
- Experience working with artists and understanding how the aesthetic ties into the functional
- Experience working with programmers and understanding technical limitations and trade-offs

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- HTML, JavaScript, CSS and XAML skills is a plus
- Strong visual design experience is a plus
- Interaction models touch, gesture, voice
