User Experience/Information Architect (UX)

USER EXPERIENCE/INFORMATION ARCHITECT

Are you a User Experience professional and interested in joining a large and very talented UX team at a name brand company in Atlanta? Then this may be the job for you! We seek an experienced User Experience Architect who will maintain an integral position on highly visible, large scale, and cross-functional projects.

You will be involved in best-in-E-commerce user experience projects from ideation and early conceptual design, to the final implementation across all digital properties. We seek a professional with extensive experience developing, extending and applying detailed user interface specifications and design guidelines for large-scale E-commerce websites and/or mobile E-commerce applications.

This position requires a detailed-oriented nature, with extensive experience developing low to medium-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes. Enjoy joining a .com environment and a highly skilled team with exceptional leadership for this 6 months++ contract position with likelihood to convert perm.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED

- 2+ years of professional experience with online User Experience/Information Architecture in an enterprise environment
- Demonstrated experience in designing usable, web-based interfaces in an Agile environment (mobile experience is a plus)
- Experience with Consumer/Customer facing websites (retail and/or E-commerce website experience preferred)
- Experience creating experience briefs, user flows, content inventories, wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes, along with thorough and timely UI documentation.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, Axure, iRise and Photoshop
- B.S. or B.A., or M.S. in, or exposure to both theory and practice of, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Usability Engineering, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, or related discipline
- Certification in Information Architecture or Professional Ergonomics is highly preferred
