User Experience Designer for the Hague or Munich

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SEVERAL USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNERS TO WORK AT OUR MULTINATIONAL CLIENT IN THE HAGUE OR MUNICH

EXPECTED TASKS AND DELIVERABLES BY THE CONSULTANTS

- Perform user research and task analysis accompanying and supporting the definition of functional requirement. In particular, specify additional user requirements and create user scenarios when these are missing and required by the project teams.
- Create user and non-functional requirement documentation in line with the already existing requirement management and documentation platform.
- Create initial (low-fidelity) wireframes to illustrate the above-mentioned requirements and do so in line with the already existing UX designs produced (using Balsamiq).
- Create detailed (high-fidelity) wireframes for canonical screens and detailed specifications for UX patterns and components (using HTML, CSS and Javascript)
- Create a visual style concept for internal users
- Support the definition of a visual style concept for external users of applications if required
- Produce visual elements to be used in a UX library displaying canonical screens and pattern elements
- Produce CSS code and creation of encapsulated CSS code to be used in a UX library displaying canonical screens and pattern elements.
- Offer accessibility support for both the user experience design team as well as for third party implementers, responsible for the development of applications.
- Contribute to the UX library by incorporating accessibility in the pattern definition (both at documentation and at code level).
- Produce accessibility related documentation to facilitate knowledge dissemination.
- Several travels to other client locations like Vienna, Munich or The Hague is requested

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE

- Master degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of user experience design or accessibility
- Strong knowledge and experience in WCAG 2.0 and ISO 9241
- Strong knowledge and experience of HTML, CSS and Javascript and Balsamiq
- Able to operate at a conceptual level
- Experience providing coaching and holding workshops
- Experience in multi-national environment and consulting
- Excellent level of English (spoken as well as written)
