User Experience Designer

USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER REDMOND, WA 6 MONTH CONTRACT

The UX Designer will report directly to Creative Director and will assist in the creation and design exploration for prototyping project for future site designs. The ideal candidate will have diversified design experience that includes both visual, responsive and interaction design, as well as a portfolio to prove it.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create design from concept through production from sketches, to user flows, to wireframes, to mockups, to high-fidelity comps, to prototype, to development
- Contribute to architecture schematics, interaction design documentation, wireframes and style guides

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- 3+ years of professional experience in interactive web design, E-commerce design, and print design including really strong communication/presentation skills
- Experienced in responsive design principles and mobile-first design philosophy
- Up-to-date knowledge on current trends on the web from a design, technology and interaction point of view
- Proven ability to prioritize, thrive in a dynamic creative environment, and oversee multiple projects at once
- Experience leading the design, development and execution of user research and usability testing
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Portfolio of work samples required
