User Experience Designer

My client in Basingtoke are looking for a contractor for 6 months.

The User Experience Designer will be involved through all stages of the development cycle, creating story boards, designing individual site pages and where possible converting designs into HTML and CSS for integration into the web platform. The primary function of the UX Designer is to bring creativity to the development process in exciting and innovate ways while ensuring the solution is fit for purpose.

Key activities

* Designing the user interface / experience of software solutions and support changes using a standardised development methodology.
* Creative authority in bringing concepts to reality within the parameters of the company's brand and vision.
* Building story boards to represent a user journey when interacting with the solution.
* Generating iconography appropriate to the solution and user expectations while maintaining the company's image.
* Where required, converting designs into HTML and CSS under guidance of web developers.

Skills and experience

The role will be utilising the below technologies and techniques and as such, an understanding is required as a minimum to perform the role.
