User Experience Analyst (UX)

Beacon Hill Technologies has a 3+ month contract opportunity for an User Experience Analyst.

REQUIRED:

- Experience in UX Design, lab-based/formal usability testing, remote usability testing, informal usability testing, HE's, Competitor Assessments, wireframes and prototype development using Axure (or similar tool).
- Experience with other methods of user experience research and testing including; persona development, focus groups, usability testing, facilitator guide/script preparation, heuristic evaluations, card sorting
- Excellent skills required in critical thinking and analysis, meeting facilitation, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions (eg, partnering, conflict management, resolving priorities between stakeholders, consulting, etc.).
- Maintains usability standards and methodology as it relates to assigned Web/Digital Environments for the corporate enterprise. Help weave user centered best practices into the product development process.
- Conducts ongoing usability testing and assessments to provide recommendations for enhancements or modifications to the customer experience.
- Mentor/guide UX designs - including input, review and signoff of user process flows, lead whiteboarding sessions, develop wireframes, mock ups, etc. - for Internet, Intranet and internal applications and tools as needed.
- Two or more years of experience in a senior user experience role.
- Seven or more years of experience in visual design, interface design, information architecture or interaction design for Web, Digital or software applications. Should include experience in creation of deliverables such as page flows, wireframes, UI specifications, Web page/Digital mockups or software interface elements for complex Web or software applications.
- Self-starter that can work with diverse stakeholders and with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project and PowerPoint skills appropriate for User Experience documentation
- On-site, in person. candidate interview required before selection.

DESIRED:

- Working knowledge of Front End coding skills including HTML, CSS
- Mobile and responsive design experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in MIS, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Human Computer Interaction, Graphic Design
