Usability Researcher

For this contract position, you will be in an agile lab working across disciplines to create groundbreaking social experiences. This group has played a key role in shipping new social offerings and has active projects spanning web, mobile, slate and even game console platforms.

We are seeking a Usability Researcher to join an interdisciplinary team of developers, designers, program managers and researchers contributing to a publicly available social software experience for web, Windows 8 and mobile devices. A command of a wide range of tools and methods, and the ability to communicate ideas quickly and interactively are essential. Ideal candidates will have a can-do attitude, passion for technology, design and user experience, and will be able to get up to speed quickly.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Work related experience in Human Machine Interaction or usability required
- Track record of contributing to GREAT experiences for consumers and information workers
- Data analysis expertise
- Passion for design/experience
- Demonstrated skill in collecting and analysing human behavioral data required
- Excellent communication skills required
- Must be able to work in a highly collaborative environment
- Experience in project management preferred
- Master's degree in Psychology, Human Factors or related field required or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Factors or related field with equivalent work experience in Behavioral Science

This contract position is expected to be 5 months in duration.
