Usability Researcher

ENTRY LEVEL DESIGN RESEARCH POSITION ON ADVANCED PRODUCT PILOT TEAM. The Usability Researcher will work with senior design research staff to develop interaction sequences with users that utilize findings from prior ethnographic research. Candidate must have great writing skills and be undaunted by detail work (the strength of the product will show up in these details!). This is a strategic project and a great opportunity to be part of something big.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working with UX Manager to help define dialog sequences with the user, helping to define rules for engaging with the user based on findings from prior research.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Work related experience in Human Machine Interaction or usability required
- Demonstrated skill in collecting and analysing human behavioral data required
- Excellent communication skills, especially writing skills, required
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a team
- Experience in project management preferred
- Master's degree in Psychology, Human Factors or related field required or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Factors or related field with equivalent work experience in Behavioral Science
