USABILITY ASSISTANT SAN FRANCISCO, CA CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

Entry level design research position on advanced product pilot team. Candidate will work with senior design research staff to develop interaction sequences with users that utilize findings from prior ethnographic research. Candidate must have great writing skills and be undaunted by detail work (the strength of the product will show up in these details!). This is a strategic project and a great opportunity to be part of something big in the tech industry.

Candidate will be very focused on UX and translating this into rules and guidelines for the developers to program the product. S/He will build the sequences and then test them online, and may help analyze the results of the data retrieved. Someone interested in personal technology, mobile devices background preferred. Need to be excited about the bigger, end-goal of the product.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Master's degree in HCI, UR, Usability
- Library Sciences or psychology background
- Excellent written communication and Localization in French, German, Italian or Spanish a plus
- Tools: Office suite, Word, Excel
- Must be capable of handling a high level of complexity
- Comfortable working independently
- Cognitive science for design and/or an anthropological bent a plus
- Background in mobile technology preferred
- Recent college graduates encouraged to apply
