Urgent Start Senior Java Developer

Proteus Europe is searching for a Senior Java Developer for a 3 Month contract role based in Brussels, Belgium.

Our Client:-
is, as the first universal direct bank, a strong player on the Belgian market. The bank provides its customers with a wide range of financial products and services via the distribution channel of their choice (click and face).

Your New role:-

- You program new applications and make changes in existing applications
- You translate functional analysis into technical analysis and developments together with the parties involved
- You provide and update technical documentation
- You give support on the application and participate in the development of new features being implemented
- You advise, appraise and code review
- You pool and share knowledge on new applications and technologies used

Your Skills and experience:-

Essential Skills:- Are you someone who

- Has at least 5 years experience in Java development with Middleware management (IBM MQ, TIBCO), XML and JAVA treads management and transactional environment design patterns (R/R, F/F)
- Has these nice to have knowledge in these fields:

o Concurrent programming
o Multithreading
o Actors pattern
o Apache Ingnite/GridGain
o High availability systems
o Docker
o Knowledge on REST/API, Java.util.concurrent API

Desirable Skills:- And you also have

- A master degree, or equal through experience;
- A strong experience in Java Development experience in functional analysis
- A sound experiences in IT and IT processes;
- An excellent written and spoken knowledge of English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is an asset.
