Urgent - Senior Unix/Linux System Administrator

We are currently looking for a SENIOR UNIX/LINUX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR for a long term contract in Sweden.

Location: Sweden, Linkoping

Rate: negotiable

Length: long term

Senior UNIX/LINUX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR to refine the development environment used by the customer development units. The consultant for this position must have proven experience in system administration. IT environment is mixed and largely virtualized. The Consultant should have good knowledge in English (swedish preferred), as well as good communication skills both oral and written. The work is done both independently and in teams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Demonstrated experience as a Unix/Linux system administration

High competence in UNIX/Solaris

High competence in Linux

Management of virtualized server environments

Experience with databases, primarily MySQL

TCP/IP knowledge

Learning about administration of various data storage solutions

script programming

MERITORIOUS SKILLS:

Expertise around software development environments
