The role would involve maintenance and development of all oracle database environments and training is fully available so the individual can continually learn new skills.

Technical Skills

Oracle 10g and 11g

Oracle Dataguard

A high level of experience in database design, testing, tuning and maintenance

Oracle grid infrastructure

Scripting knowledge (PL/SQL)

Responsibilities

Performance testing

Production monitoring

Pro-active analysis of production database performance

Provide oracle support for the problem management process
