JOB DESCRIPTION:- JOB TITLE: IT Administrator L3

LOCATION:- Czech Republic, Prague

CONTRACT DURATION:5months + extendable contract.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for technical GIS Hosting Unix/Linux Services.

Reports to Unix Service Owner.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

As part of the technical GIS Hosting Unix/Linux Services, this role is responsible for:

-Responsible for Performance and Capacity Management of Unix and Linux Systems managed by GIS
-Provide System Architecture support to Business IT Application teams
-Provide Level 4 support for Unix/Linux related issues where escalated
-Assist in Level 1-3 support responsibilities and help train lower level administrators
-Improve, track progress, and make recommendations on Infrastructure Improvements
-Ensure Unix/Linux inventory levels available to meet forecasted demand.
-Unix Service's team lead in all forecasting activities

Service Innovation

-Identify Demand/CSI, trends, (IT) best-practices
-(Joint) Solution Evaluation, Approval and support of Change/Project

As an Engineer, the responsibilities require to

-develop and enforce architectural governance, deployment standards and best practices for Unix/Linux including installation, patching and high availability configurations;
-develop and document architectures and deployment procedures.

The technical scope of the job includes

-Unix and Linux Administration
-Scripting automation skills - Perl, ksh, and bash.
-Unix and Linux Performance Management
-Unix and Linux Capacity Management

The functional scope of the job includes

-Engineering, configuration, and administration of Unix and Linux Enterprise
