TITLE: SUPPORT ANALYST

LOCATION: ANDOVER, MA

DURATION: 7MONTHS +

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- The Security Operations Center (SOC) within Philips IT works diligently to provide reliable and secure services across the global enterprise consisting of a 24/7 incident response capability.
- The team has a focus on system reliability and security through the continuous operation of secure solutions.
- The primary objectives of the SOC analysts are the detection and response to security events generated by the different security technologies deployed, reported by the IT Service Desk, internal staff or other mediums.
- The ideal candidate must have a passion for security and all things technical, with a basic understanding of networking concepts and the tools and techniques of the trade.
- Working as part of the team in a 24/7 shift pattern is a pre-requisite.

EXPERIENCE:

- Prior experience working in a Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT/CIRT) or IT security environment
- Certifications such as GCIH, CISM, GSEC is a plus.
- Trustworthiness and integrity.
- Ability to take decisive action based on available information in a timely manner.
