What will you be doing as Urgent - Freelance Senior Java Developer?

In your role as Freelance Senior Java Developer your will collaborate with other teams to build excellent and reliable products in an Agile environment. You will streamline the internal development pipeline all the way from code check-ins to deployment into DTAP environments using the best tools available (Jira, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, ...). Furthermore it is important to be able to keep up with the latest technologies, since a part of your daily responsibilities will also be to coach team-members to exploit their potential to the maximum.

What do we expect as Urgent - Freelance Senior Java Developer

To fulfill the role of a Freelance Senior Java Developer following skills / techniques / methods / tools are required:
- Excellent Java knowledge including the Spring framework 3.x/4.x and JEE 6.0/7.0
- 5+ years experience in building Java web applications
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL)
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript and modern Web 2.0 development
- Full software lifecycle experience from the idea to software operations
- Excellent judgement in designing RESTful API's to serve multiple clients
- Experienced working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban)
- You keep up to date with the latest technologies
- Experience with application servers such as tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere
- Good knowledge of operating system fundamentals with the ability to apply it in the context of modern operating systems
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- You have to be a real teamplayer
- Good english speaking and writing skills

Furthermore knowledge or experience with the following, is beneficial:
- NoSQL
- Dropwizard (JAX-RS, etc.)
- AWS
- Microservice
