Urgent - DODD Frank Data Remediation Analyst

A leading investment bank based in Canary Wharf in London is looking to hire 2 contractors before the close of play on Friday (21/09/2012) on a 6 month contract. As such, this role is of the highest priority.

2 Data Analysts are required to join a Major Client Onboarding and Account Maintenance project at a leading investment bank in Canary Wharf. This project is in line with Dodd Frank regulatory requirements and enhanced KYC & client classification requirements imposed upon the bank by the financial regulators.

Key Data Analyst activities will include:

* Creation and maintenance of appropriate records, databases/systems. Ensuring that documentation information is accurately and promptly recorded for relevant counterparties including funds together with any required remediation of existing data.

* To understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which you are involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy.

* Perform required escalation management activities to address gaps in sourcing documentation from clients

* Prepare and maintain remediation metrics as outlined by project team

Key candidate attributes:

* Candidate must have an investment banking background
* Candidate should have sound regulatory knowledge of Dodd Frank and issues surrounding Client Onboarding, KYC and regulatory compliance
* Candidate must be an excellent data analyst with a strong history of Data Remediation / Loss Data Remediation
* Candidate must have excellent excel and database capabilities (Excel, VBA, Macros)

Rate: £200 - £300 per day, contract length: 6 months rolling

Candidate must be available straight away (ready to start by 24/09/2012 at the latest) and must be available to interview straight away.
