Upstream Senior Laboratory Technician Job

UPSTREAM SENIOR LABORATORY TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Swiftwater, PA.

- Upstream Related Equipment
- Bioreactor Scale-up

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Significant time spent in the lab monitoring equipment performance, cell growth and metabolism and provide overall guidance for the operators for all activities (media prep through 200L harvest)
- Prepare charts/tables, comparing growth, titer, metabolism, etc of SWR and technology transfer site batches.
- Prepare documentation and proceeds descriptions to documents applicable to SWR equipment, including gaps and experiments/testing required for further process characterization.
- Prepare clear and concise protocols for experiments performed in VDL1, including specific parameters for all processing steps.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience working in a fermentation and/or mammalian cell culture laboratory required. This experience should include hands on preparation, operation and maintenance of upstream related equipment. The position will ensure all equipment is prepared and available for scheduled experiments and ensure that experimental protocols are followed. Supervisory experience is preferred.
- Experience working in a fermentation required
- Mammalian cell culture laboratory-this experience should include hands on preparation, operation and maintenance of upstream related equipment required
- Bioreactor Scale-up and operation experience required

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Development and manufacturing experience preferred
- Flexibility to work weekends and off-shift if needed
