The Role

The role sits within the upstream oil analytics team who specialize in the analysis and forecasting of short and long term developments in the international oil and gas markets. We are looking for an individual who has experience within the upstream oil sector who has experience looking into supply-side economics including production, pricing and behavioral trends within the global market. The role will include forecasting in the short term and long term production of oil and worldwide and in turn how this will impact the market. The role is research based including qualitative market report writing and an individual with a strong numerate ability to add value to the team. . Furthermore, the role will include engagement with key industry leaders and market experts and the opportunity to join a team providing strategic advice and bespoke solutions to the global market

The Person

* A numerate degree ideally in Economics or similar from a top tier University is ESSENTIAL.
* An analytical mind set along with the quantitative and conceptual problem solving experience.
* Exceptional communication skills including the ability to influence and persuade internal management teams and external investors.
* Commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.
* Experience of market analysis within the supply side of the upstream oil sector is ESSENTIAL.
