Job Mission
The Upgrade Coordinator is owner of the system configuration baseline. You will develop means and methods for functional configuration management by making the link between system function and configuration requirements.
Job Description
It is expected that you can think and work in terms of:
* Make the link between system functions and configuration requirements
* Optimize the integration PERT and integration plan using upgrade impact as a parameter
* Define the contents of the upgrade packages
* Define the process to release system configuration baselines to the operational sectors
* Develop the tooling necessary to implement functional configuration management
* Be the owner of the configuration baselines in the Engineering Change Control Board
Education
Bachelor or Master level - Technical
Experience
* System integration and test engineering
* Software release management
* Configuration management

Context of the position
As an Upgrade Coordinator you report to a Group Leader of the System Integration department. The Upgrade Coordinator will be allocated to an Integration Project, building a prototype by integrating modules, led by a Project leader Integration. You will interface with the other project leaders/integrators, system test engineers, system engineers, configuration engineers, machine fathers, representatives of the operational sectors.
Within the client, the sector Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the specification, design and engineering of the clients products. Within D&E, the Software Cluster is concerned with the design, development, testing and integration of the complete software package which drives a generation of clients products. In the SW Cluster, the department System Integration is responsible for the utilization and the configuration (hardware and software) of test tools and systems used to integrate new developments. The department System Integration contributes to an optimal design of the complete product and the creation of the product documentation necessary for pilot production.
