ABOUT THE POSITION
GTN Technical Staffing is searching for a Systems Administrator to assist our client with increased demand in their Network Operations Center. You will a part of a team in charge of monitoring Servers in a UNIX/Windows environment and will perform system, network, and capacity monitoring of production and lab systems. You will develop, implement, and maintain systems documentation and operational procedures. This role will be part of a 24x7 rotating on-call support team, so some after-hours work will be necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of experience in the following skill sets
- UNIX/Windows Operating Systems
- Windows 2003/2008 Server Administration
- Infrastructure Monitoring Tools - Nagios/Icinga
- Programming Languages - Shell Scripting/UNIX Shell Scripting
- Remedy Ticketing System
- SQL Server 2005/2008
PREFERRED
- Telecommunications experience
