For our client, a big international Telecommunication provider, we are looking for a

Unix & Virtualisation Engineer

Work place: Zürich, Switzerland
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3 months +

Your tasks:

Traffic management/analysis and monitoring of a running system
Provide guidance and implementation for software delivery in a UNIX/Linux environmet
Provide technical reports and second line support
Maintain and develop the virtual environment (VMWare)
Responsible for the KPI´s and Service Level Agreements

Your profile:

Degree or apprenticeship in Engineering/Telecommunications/Computer Science or equivalent
Experience with mobile/data network architecture & protocols
Very good skills in Unix/Linux Engineering, Scripting & Administration
In depth knowledge of Virtualisation with VMWare
In depth knowledge of databases as well as programming and Scripting (C,C++, Shell, Perl, SQL) would be beneficial
fluency in English is a must
