UNIX TECHNICAL CONSULTANTS - SOLARIS - EDINBURGH

ECS is currently seeking experienced Solaris Technicians in Edinburgh. You will join a team of technicians responsible for the migration of existing Solaris workloads onto new hardware. We are looking for Solaris Technicians with previous experience managing or performing Solaris migrations with a focus of minimising or reducing risk.

We are looking for experienced Solaris Consultants with a strong technical background coupled with experience in a large server estate.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Excellent knowledge of Solaris 8, 9 and 10.

Ideally experienced in clustering (preferably Veritas Cluster Services)

Good knowledge of Veritas Products - VCS, VxVM, VxFS.

Experience running systems on Sunfire E25K,

Knowledge of Solaris virtualisation technologies.

Experienced working in the financial sector.

Flexible attitude to work and excellent team player.
