Projektbeschreibung

A QLD Government Department currently requires an experienced UNIX Engineer to join their team for a 3-6 month contract. The successful candidate will be part of a project to migrate applications and services to a new data centre, where you will be responsible for the development, implementation and support for UNIX Systems and coordinating project activities relating to the installation, expansion and upgrade of the infrastructure, systems and services.

Skills and experience required:

- At least 2 years experience as a UNIX Engineer.
- Experience with Solaris and Red Hat Linux.
- Knowledge of Server Hardware, Storage/SAN, etc.
- Sound knowledge of ICT and ability to provide high level advice and recommendations.
- Leadership skills and ability to guide project staff in a team environment.
