UNIX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR  - UNIX SOLARIS AIX VERITAS

Mansion House Consulting are a highly successful and rapidly expanding Technology and Business Transformation Consultancy specialising in the Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Asset/Fund Management and Wealth Management sectors. We currently have offices in London, New York, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Singapore.

We require a UNIX system administrator to be based in Jacksonville Florida, to join a core infrastructure team within a technical environment; this role would suit a Consultant with excellent attention to detail gained within the Banking or other fast paced environment. To be successful you will need to demonstrate experience of storage migrations OS patching, Shell Scripting, advanced OS troubleshooting, new builds and deployments, software installations, database installation (Oracle and Sybase). The successful candidate will work with application teams, project teams and storage management, marker data, networks and hardware teams.

You must be able to demonstrate extensive experience of:
Solaris 10 (and earlier releases)
Linux (SUSE, VMware)
Veritas Cluster Server (not just support but architecture and deployments)
Veritas Volume Manager (including advanced troubleshooting
Veritas File systems
Sun Volume Manager
Korn Shell Scripting
EMC San technologies (RDF, DMX, Symmetric Unix Command set)
Oracle & Sybase
HDS storage technologies
AIX Administration skills

Due to the nature of this work, the successful consultant will be expected to provide out of hours support for production systems helping to keep critical systems available 24/7 and within SLA.
