Unix System Administrator - Linux/Red Hat/SQL/Vmware

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Unix System Administrator to work on behalf of a global telecommunications provider on a project based in Dublin.

The suitable candidate will have strong communication skills as well as a reasonable knowledge of the Dublin area.

Responsibilities include:

- Manage service deployment for global application services
- Co-ordination & implementation of technical solutions/architecture
- Analysis of technical requests
- Report technical integration updates to relevant parties
- Responsible for ensuring that technical standards are applied before the service goes live
- Ensure customer needs are taken care of in order of priority

My client is also looking for candidates with the following skills/experience:

- Advanced knowledge of Linux Red Hat, Windows
- Basic knowledge in Citrix
- Network storage NAS/SAN
- Networks including TCP/IP, Gateway, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, LAN, LDAP, SSH, SSL, VPN
- Basic knowledge of hardware Virtualisation, VMware, ESX
- Telecommunications
