Unix System Administrator Job

UNIX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Dublin, CA.

- Unix Server Experience.
- Data Center Operation.
- Window Server Experience.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Learns and performs the day-to-day duties of a Systems Administrator.
- Under supervision, installs new or existing systems, including hardware racking, cabling and software installation and configuration.
- Basic hardware diagnostics and repairs. Coordination hardware repairs with 3rd party vendors.
- Implements defined standards.
- Installation and configuration of remote access components and infrastructure.
- Learns diagnoses and effects repairs to problems involving the operating system, remote access connections, Terminal Servers, software applications and utilities, network interfaces, and all other system-level problems.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- More than two to five (2 - 5) years of Unix System Admin experience.
- More than two (2+) years of Data Center experience.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Windows certification is a plus.
- UNIX certification is a plus.
