Unix System Administrator

For our customer in Zurich we are looking for a

Unix System administrator/2nd Level Support

Your responsibilities:
- Installation, Deployment and Operation of Unix/Linux infrastructure
- L2 Support of high available Solaris/Linux-based Servers systems and integration of software components
- Planning and execution of maintenance on UNIX/Linux system
- Support and integration of new systems and products
- Installation and Configuration and root cause analysis with storage management tools
- Root cause analysis
- Support for Life Cycle projects
- Execute disaster recovery tests
- Create, revise and update technical documentation
- On-Call Support for Unix Operations team
- Support PMs for implementation of new application solutions incl. technical support

As the ideal candidate you have the following qualifications and experience:
- Completed apprenticeship in IT or adequate education
- 5-8 years of system administration
- Attendance to 7x24h On-Call support
- Attendance to weekend work
- Knowhow of Vertias Cluster Systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent German and English language skills
