We are currently looking to recruit an experienced UNIX System Administrator professional who has experience of working within the a large enterprise/financial services arena for an initial 9 month contract based on-site with one of Dell's key customers in London.

Skills and Experience:
Third Level problem management - Investigating and resolving Unix problems and implementing solutions.
Unix system administration - maintaining and configuring Unix Servers in London and other regions globally, including assistance with server change work.
Project work with either Infrastructure projects or application projects.
Performance management/Capacity planning
Working with Application support and development teams to provide a high level of value add service

Technologies:
Solaris 8 and Solaris 10,
RedHat Linux. Experiecne with EMC and or other SAN technologies and migrations.
Veritas Suite of products including VxVM, VXfs, VCS as well as SDS, LVM, ASM and general volume management products and monitoring software.
Cross platform boundries (WINTEL, UNIX, DB, Storage etc).
IP Networking and experience with Unix Shell
