UNIX Security Engineer - Site Reliability Engineer | SRE - Amsterdam - 6 months +

Looking for a Unix Security Engineer/Unix Site Reliability Engineer/Unix SRE to play a pivotal role within a dedicated infrastructure Security team based in Amsterdam. As the Unix Security Engineer you will be responsible for developing and implementing security improvements within a complex and large scale UNIX environment.

POSITION: Unix Security Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer

LOCATION: Amsterdam, Netherlands

DURATION: 6 months +

START DATE: ASAP

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Understanding the fine balance between security, agility and scalability when building tools and services;

Strong understanding of common security issues that affect E-commerce systems;

Experience with building, operating and maintaining complex and scalable systems;

Solid understanding of Software Engineering

Solid foundation in Linux administration and troubleshooting;

Proven experience with automation. Knowledge of configuration management tools like Puppet or Chef is a plus;

Additional experience in Networking, Security, Cryptography or Storage is a plus;
