Unix/Linux Systems Engineer - Contract

An exciting role is available for an experienced Systems Engineer, seeking their next implementation project.

Working for a renowned financial house this role will see you implement global infrastructure solutions for use within the investment banking domain, whilst also giving you exposure to top technologists across Asia.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist in implementation and engineering of enterprise level RedHat and Solaris solutions
- Design infrastructure solutions to solve complex business and IT problems
- Drive deployment of new infrastructure solutions across multiple business streams
- Assist in support activities where necessary

REQUIREMENTS:

- Significant hands on experience in designing and engineering RedHat and Solaris solutions
- Proven record in implementing Unix/Linux server infrastructure
- Successful track record in working within the financial services industry
- A creative and dynamic approach to problem solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A significant proven track record in delivering infrastructure projects within a highly pressured financial markets environment
