We are currently seeking a Unix/Linux System Administrator for one of our clients, a bank based here in Zurich.
The following is an overview of the responsibilities of the role, as well as the experience and skills which are required. If you are interested in this opportunity, please get in touch.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning and execution on Linux/Unix Systems, including deployment of new releases
- Support and integration of new systems, products and projects from test to production
- Installation, configuration and root-cause analysis
- Quality assurance and acceptance tests
- Execute disaster recovery tests
- On-call support (24/7h; done on a rota basis)
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- Several years' of experience with Linux/Unix systems
- Experience with RedHat and Solaris (technical certifications are an advantage)
- Incident management
- Fluent English
