UNIX/LINUX SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a Unix/Linux Subject Matter Expert for this challenging position in Platform Integration. For this 12 months contract position (option of an extension) based in Zürich in Switzerland, our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Your main responsibilities will be:
- Testing of all compute and storage standard platforms and products
- Improve delivered tools and technical processes with a global
- Enhance compliancy, standardization and operability of all infrastructure and its processes
- Development of migration concepts
The skills and experience needed for this position are:
- 7+ years' experience in Unix (Solaris 10) and Linux (RHEL 5, 6 and 7)
- Strong Scripting skills (eg Perl or Shell Scripts)
- Good understanding in creation of high level IT concepts and in requirements engineering
- Know-How in Red Hat Satellite, Puppet or Saltstack
- Structured approach and joined-up thinking
- Work experience in the financial or banking environment preferred
- Fluent in English, German is an advantage
