Unix/Linux Security Expert (f/m) (Tier-3) Financial area Luxembourg

On behalf of one of our clients, a financial institution located in Luxembourg, we are searching for a UNIX/LINUX SECURITY EXPERT (F/M) (TIER-3) to help within the implementation of the various projects in this area, as well as for the BAU activities (Baselines, hardening, etc.)

UNIX/LINUX SECURITY EXPERT (F/M) (TIER-3) FINANCIAL AREA LUXEMBOURG

TASKS/JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Support our clients Linux Security initiatives (Hardening, Compliance Check, Security Baselines, Reporting)
- Translating Security Policies to low level technical controls
- Technical Policy/Standards/Guidelines writing
- Recommend, implement and document Security processes and settings in the Unix/Linux area
- Support project for Cloud Implementation Project (datacenter automation)

EXPERIENCE:

- 4-6 years experience in IT security & system administration

QUALIFICATIONS & MANDATORY SKILLS:

- Excellent knowledge of Unix/Linux security technologies (Hardening, Monitoring, Logging)
- Good experience of Technical Policy/Standards/Guidelines writing
- Strong experience of translating Security Policies into low level technical controls
- Good knowledge of Virtualised environments and datacenter automation tools & processes
- Knowledge of typical Middleware application is a plus (JBoss, Apache, etc.)

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

- strong command of English (mandatory)
- fluent knowledge of French and/or German considered as a plus

ESSENTIAL INTER-PERSONAL SKILLS:

- Ability to work with international teams and to travel on a regular basis (to Germany/Eschborn mainly)
- Excellent negotiation skills

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

-Location: based in Luxembourg with regular trips to Frankfurt/Eschborn
-Start date: as soon as possible/immediate
-Duration: until 31/12/2105
