"UNIX/Linux/Engineer/Bladelogic/System Administration/server provisioning" contract opportunity with a leading company in the capital city of Zurich/Zürich.
Experis seeks an Engineering Specialist in the UNIX Linux field to work with cutting edge technologies in an international team.
Main tasks:
- As a team member the main tasks are to work on installation, moves, upgrades and reinstallation of the centralised Linux UNIX Servers.
- Coordinate the hardware moves
- Trouble shoot network infrastructure issues (Network, Firewall, Capacity management and general OS problems)
Requirements:
- 4-6 years experience as System Administration Linux und Unix
- 1-2 years VMWare Virtual Center
- 1-2 years SAN und NAS Storage general knowledge
- 1-2 years in complex Linux- and Unix-IT environments
- Deployment experience with the Tool BMC Bladelogic is advantageous
- English is a must, German would be ideal but not a must
- University degree BSC, MSc or similar
Location is Zurich
Start Date is planned for 01.04.2013
Work load 100%
Interviews are to be planned in the coming 5 work days from late February onwards
