Unix/Linux Administrator - 6 months rolling contract up to 2 years - Luxembourg

The Client:-

A large scale consultancy (FTSE 500)

The first 6 months of the contract will be part time (3 days a week) and then full time on the next extension

Responsibility:

Supporting business users in a Linux environment - mainly in SUSE.

Skills required:

Proven experience in Managing Linux/Unix administration (Linux, RedHat or SUSE)
Great communication and customer service skills.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Able to approach user and support for their issue/desktop etc.
Ability to develop detailed project documentation including end users training material.
Strong attention to detail, Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized
Respond proactively to training, technical support and customer service needs in line with provided guidelines.
Ability to work with pre-existing guidelines, standard operating procedures in a fast-paced professional environment.
Ability to communicate and teach non-technical users (oral and written) and have strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
Key Performance Measures:
Successful support for the business assigned.
Excellent customer service experiences by internal and external customers.
