Unix Infrastructure Expert

Contract: 6 months renewable
Mission/Role:
Our client is an international bank established in Geneva. They are looking for a System Engineer specialised in Unix systems to reinforce their team. You will be in charge of the infrastructure management for EMEA and Asia area. This is a 6 months contract renewable, starting ASAP.
Your tasks:
- Monitor infrastructures for your area's customers
- Plan and perform regular maintenances
- Provide support to your clients
- Work on infrastructures optimisations and evolution
- Participate into various projects related to your field
- Work into a very complex structure, with dispersed solutions
Experience/Qualifications:
- 5 years experience minimum in Unix systems administration
- Experience within complex international environments is mandatory
- Experience in Solaris, AIX and Linux administration is mandatory
- Excellent skills in Perl/Shell scirpting
- knowledge in Sybase, DB2, WebSphere and MS SQL are plus
- English Fluent mandatory
- Must be eligible to work in Switzerland (UE-17 citizen, Swiss citizen or valid permit holder only)
