My client, a successful financial organisation is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join and work in their team as a Senior Unix Consultant starting as soon as possible.
REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Experience with the following technologies:
- AIX 5.2, 5.3, 6.1, 7.1
- HP UX 11.23
- Solaris 10
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- IBM Power series P550, P740, P750
- HMC
- Overland Tape libraries NEO 4000/4000E
- NPIV and VSCSI
- Power VM & DLPAR
- VIO server
- Dual/Single VIO
- Shell Scripting (ksh, bash)
- NIM
- NMON
- EMC Symmetrix/Clariion
- IBM NAS
- HP Data Protector
- Legato Networker
- Ganglia
- Icinga
- Nagios
- AIX security subsystem
KEY PERSONAL SKILLS:
- Team worker is a must
- Ability to work alone also
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Good communicator
- Ability to take orders and follow through on tasks
- Ability to build out systems as well as respond to production issues
