Unix Consultant

UNIX CONSULTANT CONTRACT MANCHESTER UNIX CONTRACT CONSULTANT MANCHESTER

We are looking for a 2nd line support consultant to come on board with immediate effect. knowledge of at least one Unix V variant - AIX, Solaris, HPUX or Linux
Logical volume management for the above - ie LVM for HPUX/Linux, LVM for AIX, ZFS for Solaris or VxVM
Korn Shell Scripting
Knowledge of relevant auditing sub-system for at least one Unix variant - ie audit (AIX), EMS (HPUX), BSM/auditd (Solaris)  

DESIRABLE:

Comfortable with at least one other Unix or Linux flavour
Perl Scripting
Exposure to ITM (Tivoli), change management, release management
Design documentation experience

THE ROLE IS A 3 MONTHS CONTRACT AND WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE PERSON TO START IN THE NEXT 2 WEEKS. THE ROLE WILL BE BASED IN MANCHESTER.
