Unix and Openstack Operations Systems Engineer

Mansion House Consulting is a highly successful and rapidly expanding Technology and Business Transformation Consultancy specializing in the Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Asset/Fund Management and Wealth Management sectors. We currently have offices in London, Frankfurt, Singapore, New York and Florida.

We currently seek a highly skilled Unix and OpenStack Operations Systems Engineer to work as part of a specialized team which will provide a single point of contact for End to End proactive support for all OpenStack Virtual Servers. As part of the team you will be responsible assisting in defining and implementing strong operational governance and management routines to increase the overall technical ability of the team.

This position requires someone with a strong Unix Administrator background with the following skill set:

Expert knowledge of Redhat Linux 5,6,7

Strong knowledge of OpenStack technologies (IceHouse and Kilo)

Strong experience of:

Redhat's Cloudforms
-

Automative Scripting - Java, Ruby, Python

Confirguration Management - Puppet, Bladelogic, RedHat Foreman

VMWare product suite
-

vSAN, EMC VNX, HP 3Par, Flash storage, NetApp Filer

Operational Process: ITIL & Agile

- Investment Banking/Financial Service industry experience required

Due to the nature of this work, the successful consultant will be expected to provide out of hours support for production systems helping to keep critical systems available 24/7 and within SLA.
