UNIX Administrator - Python/C/Perl/PowerShell 

This is a long term contract opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join a global Financial Services company. The role will involve working within the security team to develop a number of tools that are the cornerstone of their malware, hacking and cyber defence.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Expertise in command line UNIX
- Experience in software development and Scripting with one or more of C, Python, PowerShell, Perl and SQL
- Know-how within cyber defence and IT forensic techniques
- Background in MySQL, Elastic Search, JSON/REST, HTML and JavaScript would be advantageous
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Assessing the current state and proposing, prioritising, designing and implementing refectories and updates
- Integrating and automating quick-wins for the company's tool set
- Migrating the toolset from internal server to an IaaS instance in the company's Private Cloud
