Unix Administrator

For my client, I am looking for a Unix Administrator for one of our clients in the Hague region.

Start: within 2 weeks

Duration: 3/4 months with possible extension

Working hours: fulltime

Location: The Hague region

Rate: 50 eur per hour

Responsibilities:

- Hands-on experience of Operating system administration eg Solaris/Linux/HPUX
- Hardware troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of Gathering/Verify Technical details of AS-IS situation of server eg CPU/MEM/Storage/Backup/etc
- Prepare AS-IS, Able to do sizing of new server, HLD, LLD, Implementation Plan, Runbook documents from UNIX Server point of view
- Understand the needs of the business for applications and analyze the impact of migration
- Ensures that technical content in the document is correct and complete
- Ensures that Risks and issues are reported to Project Manager in Time
- Knowledge of systems design, implement, migration methods
- Knowledge of Server Migration methodologies eg OS imaging, data/storage replication, etc
- Set requirements for implementation of new systems & oversee the implementation/migration
- Knowledge & Experience of Infrastructure technologies like Backup, Monitoring, Network, Storage, Virtualization, etc
