Unigraphics Design Engineer

UNIGRAPHICS DESIGNER ENGINEER - SCHEME DRAWINGS, INSTALLATIONS, CADDS5

A Unigraphics Designer Engineer with Scheme Drawings, Installations and CADDS5 experience is required to work on a three month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

This is a 3 month contract with a leading UK defence business.

OVERVIEW OF THE UNIGRAPHICS DESIGNER CONTRACT ROLE

The role itself is to produce structural definition drawings from customer requirements, including initial structural concept designs, which satisfy customer requirements, determining major structural load paths etc.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE UNIGRAPHICS DESIGNER.

- Experience with scheme drawings that may include defining fluid/mechanical installations, including fuel, ECS, hydraulics, water, oxygen, crew escape systems and fibre optics.
- Experience with electrical installations, including wiring routing and control system installations.
- The ability to support the production of relevant EDRs, and determining initial system installation layouts, using CADDS5.
- Possess in depth knowledge of a specialist area which will allow them to take a key role.

The role is based in Newcastle Tyne & Wear - commutable from Sunderland, South Shields, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Gateshead, Chester-le-Street, Houghton le Spring, Durham, Consett and Hexham
