Unified Communications Analyst

The Unified Communications Analyst is responsible for the installation, administration and operation of Unified Communications Systems including Audio/Video (AV) presentation systems. Responsible for gathering and evaluating business requirements, development of high level project plans, providing technical direction on design, making recommendations for the purchase of equipment, the installation and integration of the equipment, and ensuring equipment operates effectively. After consultation with business partners and ITS leadership, develops budget and prioritization plan to upgrade conference rooms using business needs and operational metrics as the main inputs. Responsible for providing on-going deep level support for analysing and resolving technical issues that arise with unified communication equipment including AV equipment. Responsible for change management, training and documentation for end-users on all Unified Communications Systems. Provide assistance in executive and large meetings as necessary. Occasional travel to field locations will be required. Reports to IT Leadership.

SKILLS:

- Supporting collaboration technology such as audio, video and web conferencing as well as video bridging, audio recording, and audio streaming.
- Experience supporting infrastructure unified communication technologies.

EDUCATION:

- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
